Corinth is an attraction due to its geography, is the point that joins Attica with the Peloponnese. In ancient times there was a whole mechanism for people to cross ships through the isthmus of Corinth, dragging ships ashore on tree trunks to get them to the other end. This mechanism was called Dielkystinda. As a result, there was a huge development of the area, which accompanies it until today, where this mechanism no longer exists, and instead an artificial channel has been created for ships to pass.
